
TEEN - Ages 12+
Dance for joy, expression, and balance!
TEEN classes are designed for the recreational dancer who may not be pursuing intensive training but is looking for joy, confidence, and creativity through movement. We believe that dance has value beyond the studio mirror and stage spotlight—it is a form of self-expression, a release from daily stress, and a way to stay connected to one’s authentic self.
These classes celebrate the personal benefits of dance: the confidence gained from mastering a combination, the community built through shared rhythm, and the mental clarity that comes from moving with intention. For teens juggling busy schedules, academic pressures, and changing interests, TEEN classes offer a space to move, breathe, and belong—without the pressure of performance or progression.
At its heart, dance is for everyone. Our TEEN classes invite dancers to show up as they are, to find joy in movement, and to carry the empowerment of dance into every area of their lives.

Ballet
Classical technique with grace, strength, and discipline. Rooted in classical tradition, Ballet forms the foundation of our technical training, emphasizing grace, strength, flexibility, and musicality. Each class includes barre work, center combinations, and across-the-floor progressions that build proper alignment, balance, and refined movement quality.
Whether you’re building confidence or pursuing excellence, our ballet program nurtures a lifelong appreciation for the elegance and discipline of classical dance.

Jazz
Expressive, energetic, and evolving with every level. Our Jazz program combines the precision of technique with the freedom of expression, offering a vibrant blend of styles—from the power and stage presence of Commercial Jazz to the fluid storytelling of Lyrical Jazz. Rooted in strong fundamentals, dancers explore turns, jumps, isolations, and expressive choreography that challenge both their athleticism and artistry.
Whether leaping boldly or moving with subtle grace, our Jazz program inspires dancers to move with intention, individuality, and impact.

Musical Theater
Dance, character, and the magic of Broadway! Step into the spotlight with Musical Theater, where jazz technique meets storytelling in a class that celebrates the energy and emotion of Broadway. Dancers bring characters to life through expressive movement, theatrical choreography, and a focus on stage presence, acting, and performance quality.
Whether preparing for a role or simply driven by a passion to perform, our Musical Theater program gives dancers the tools to shine on stage and tell stories through movement.

Contemporary
Creative movement, emotional expression, and technical freedom. Contemporary dance blends elements of ballet, jazz, and modern movement to create a style that is expressive, grounded, and ever-evolving. Dancers explore fluidity, improvisation, and emotional storytelling, building both technique and personal artistry through dynamic choreography and creative exploration.
Whether you’re reaching, falling, spiraling, or still, our Contemporary program inspires dancers to move authentically and expressively, cultivating both technical strength and artistic voice.
*Please note: Teen dancers who wish to take CONTEMPORARY INTERMEDIATE should be enrolled in at least one other dance class each week.

Hip Hop
Athletic movement, musical precision, and street-style energy. Hip Hop brings high-energy movement and bold musicality together in a class that celebrates style, strength, and self-expression. Dancers build coordination, stamina, and stage presence through freestyle, choreography, and foundational hip hop techniques inspired by commercial, street, and social dance styles.
From bold beats to smooth grooves, our Hip Hop program empowers dancers to move with authenticity, confidence, and creative freedom.

Core & More
Dance conditioning for strength, stability, and stamina. Get ready to power up your dancing from the inside out! CORE & MORE is an upbeat, energizing conditioning class designed specifically for dancers who want to level up their strength, control, and endurance.
In this class, dancers will engage in fun, full-body workouts that target:
- Core stability for better balance and turns
- Upper & lower body strength to support jumps, extensions, and lifts
- Flexibility and alignment to reduce injury and increase fluidity
- Endurance training to build stamina for longer routines and performances
Through a mix of floor work, dynamic movement, and cross-training techniques, dancers will learn how strength training outside of traditional class exercises can enhance their technique, refine their movement quality, and prepare them for more challenging choreography.
