MOMENTUM is our premier performance company, where dedicated dancers channel their training into compelling stage experiences. With opportunities to perform, choreograph, and collaborate, this company empowers dancers to move with purpose and lead with artistry.
Momentum is an audition-based program and is divided into two age groups: Momentum I for ages 11–14 and Momentum II for ages 14–18 up. An invitation to join will be extended following a successful audition. Dancers will be expected to meet and maintain class requirements in order to remain in the program.

Audition Details
Momentum I (Ages 11–14) Audition Date:
Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 4:00 p.m.*
Momentum II (Ages 14–18) Audition Date:
Friday, September 12, 2025 at 4:00 p.m.*
Dancers must turn the minimum age for their group (11 for Momentum I, 14 for Momentum II) during the 2025 calendar year.

Momentum Class Attendance
Participation in the Momentum program includes a weekly Momentum class, where ensemble work, choreography, and collaborative development occur. Attendance at the weekly Momentum class is mandatory for all ensemble members.
Momentum I Class: Tuesdays at 4:00–5:30 p.m.
Momentum II Class: Fridays at 4:00–5:30 p.m.
Momentum I Requirements
Student Age:
For ages 11–14
Dancers must turn the minimum age for this group during the 2025 calendar year.
Momentum I Class:
Tuesdays 4:00–5:30 p.m.
Minimum Class Requirements:
- 1 Ballet class
- 1 Jazz class
- 1 Contemporary class
- 1 Core & More class
Dancers are encouraged to take as many additional classes as they like beyond these requirements.
Approved Class Options:
Ballet (Choose at least one):
- Ballet B – Tuesdays, 6:00–7:00 p.m. (ages 10–11)
- Ballet B – Saturdays, 10:15-11:15 a.m. (ages 10–11)
- Ballet Intermediate – Mondays, 4:30–6:00 p.m. (ages 12+)
- Ballet Intermediate – Thursdays, 6:00–7:30 p.m. (ages 12+)
Jazz (Choose at least one):
- Jazz B – Tuesdays, 5:00–6:00 p.m. (ages 10–11)
- Jazz B – Saturdays, 9:15-10:15 a.m. (ages 10-11)
- Jazz Intermediate – Thursdays, 4:30- 6:00 p.m. (ages 12+)
Contemporary (Choose at least one):
- Lyrical Contemporary – Mondays, 5:00–6:00 p.m. (ages 8–11)
- Contemporary Intermediate – Wednesdays, 4:30–5:30 p.m. (ages 12+)
Choreography Rehearsals:
Choreography Rehearsals are optional and audition-based. Dancers will have the opportunity to audition for multiple Choreography Rehearsals. Choose what to audition for based on your ability to commit to the rehearsal schedule. Interested dancers can learn more about this optional add-on on our Auditions & Choreography Rehearsals page.
- Rehearsal A: Mondays at 5:30–7:00 p.m.
- Rehearsal B: Fridays at 5:30–7:00 p.m.
- Rehearsal C: Saturdays at 12:30–2:00 p.m.
- Rehearsal D: Saturdays at 2:00–3:30 p.m.
Momentum II Requirements

Fridays 4:00–5:30 p.m.
